Teacher Week at the Beach is back for the fourth year running! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 31 – Friday, August 2. That’s when Plymouth Rock’s Teachers’ Insurance Plan will be giving away free passes to the beach and other venues to registered teachers and their guests. Dates were just announced this week for the annual teacher event, hosted at Jenkinson’s Beach and Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Last year’s event drew over 4,00 registered participants. Educators from around the state brought friends and family for a day at the beach and boardwalk, compliments of Plymouth Rock’s New Jersey-based Teachers’ Insurance Plan, a car insurance company that exclusively insures educational employees. The event this year will now be open to Pennsylvania teachers, according to Plymouth Rock, who recently began offering auto insurance in the Keystone State with a special educator affinity discount.
