Here at the Teachers’ Lounge, where we appreciate and celebrate the greatest professionall year long, we are always excited about the special attention educators get for Teacher Appreciation Day around this time of year. Our teacher-writers and staff editors eat, sleep and breathe the teacher life all week long in their quest to bring you great blogs and resources, and we know that we don’t do this for all of the thanks we get. But a little appreciation goes a long way, and every little bit of support helps.
So, Plymouth Rock Assurance, our gracious site sponsor, is doing something special this year: a spa day and faculty lounge makeover for a teacher and a school in NJ and a teacher and a school in PA. It’s pretty cool: you and your colleagues can enter the names of fellow NJ and PA teachers (one nomination per nominator), and friends, family, or class parents can also enter their favorite teacher’s name (you?) for the drawing.
