The Captain Planet Foundation has various grants to support teachers in the classroom. One of those grants is the ecoSolution Grant which supports youth led environmental projects. Grants range from $500 – $2,500 and can be used for materials needed for an environmental project that result in environmental outcomes. The purpose of this grant is to allow for environmental changes and must be project and results oriented. Beautification projects for example would not be something this grant money could be used for. Grants cannot be used for t-shirts, salaries, landscaping, or anything not project material related.

The ecoSolution Grant has 2 cycles per year where educators can apply. Cycle 1 opens July 16th and closes January 15th. Cycle 2 opens January 16th – July 15th.
