Steelcase Education is investing in the future of teaching and learning by awarding the Active Learning Center Grant to up to ten recipients. The grant furnishes a new classroom valued at $82,000, provides professional learning valued at $25,000, and transformation services valued at $25,000. Colleges, universities, and Grade 6-12 classrooms with up to 30 students per classroom in the United States are eligible to apply. The two-year award cycle includes furniture, design review, and installation to create smarter, more active environments. Grant recipients will choose the desired style from a selection of three layouts to meet their specific needs for classrooms, libraries, cafes, and many spaces in between. Applications are due by 2/3/20 and recipients will be announced 3/20/20.
