A lot of people may be under the mistaken impression that teachers have it easy in the summer. While that can sometimes be true, it’s more often the case that a summer job is in order. Heck, maybe it’s even a third job to add to the two you already work during the school year. Finding a sweet summer gig can be key, but every so often desperate times call for desperate measures and you find yourself making ends meet in a summer side hustle that has you wishing the school year would come sooner. Tell us about your worst (or best) summer jobs, and if we share your story, we’ll send you a $25 gift card to help bridge you through the summer (that’s not a bad gig.) Make us laugh, make us cry, and let’s all try to get through this together!

200 – 500 words. Feel free to send supporting images, too. Submission deadline: July 20, 2018.
