ENTRY PERIOD: Contest begins on June 18, 2018 at 3:00pm EST and ends on July 20, 2018 at 11:59pm EST.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to only educators who are legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, 21 years or older as of date of entry. Participant may not be part of any exclusionary list. Plymouth Rock employees and their immediate relatives, and High Point or Palisades appointed and subproducer agents and their employees are not eligible to participate. Participants may only win one monthly giveaway per six months.
SPONSOR: The Contest is sponsored by Plymouth Rock Management Company of New Jersey, 331 Newman Springs Road, Suite 304, Red Bank, NJ 07701. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Plymouth Rock and not to Facebook.
AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the Contest, each Entrant (or if the Entrant is not of the age of majority in his/her state of resident, his/her parent or legal guardian) fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decision of the Sponsor, which is final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning any prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, email your 200-500 word story with or without supporting images to rthompson@plymouthrock.com. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means are void. One entry per person. Entries must include “Worst Summer Job 2018” as the subject. Emailed entries must arrive by 11:59 pm EST on July 20, 2018.
By providing your email address, you authorize Plymouth Rock to communicate with you regarding future promotional offers. You may opt out of this service at any time by clicking “unsubscribe”.
WINNER SELECTION: Multiple entries will be selected by the Sponsor based on quality of content. Each entrant whose story is chosen will receive a $25 gift card. Prizes are not redeemable for substitutions.
Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor.
Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email within fifteen (15) days after the selections are made. Winners will be selected by Sponsor from all eligible entries received for the Contest. All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
If a prize is refused, a prize notification is returned or deemed undeliverable, a winner does not respond within seven (7) business days of notification, or the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, an alternate winner may be selected.
RELEASE: By entering the Contest, entrants (or, if eligible minors in their jurisdictions of residence, their parents or legal guardians) (i) release and hold harmless Sponsor, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, managed insurance companies, legal advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and web suppliers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death or property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, and (ii) except where prohibited by law, consent to the use by Sponsor and its designees of their names, addresses, likenesses, and/or statements for advertising and promotion purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known without additional compensation, and upon request, winner will provide written consent of such use. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel this Contest at any time, for any reason including but not limited to computer virus, bug, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or other technical problem, security, or other problems or activities. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes by way of a random drawing from all entries received for the Contest prior to the time of cancellation.
Each entrant also releases Facebook from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death or property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
DISPUTES: In the event of a dispute relating to the identity of any entrant by Internet, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the email account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an email account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such an email account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such email account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an email account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest.
PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and it agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, submissions and/or hometown and state for advertising,promotional and other purposes, in any manner, in any and all media, now and hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity, without further payment or consideration, notification or permission.
WINNERS LIST: For a name of the Contest winners, mail a stamped, self-addressed envelope to [Worst Summer Job 2018] Contest Winner c/o Plymouth Rock Management Company of New Jersey, PO Box 906, Lincroft, NJ 07738. Request must be received by July 20, 2019.
