Sustainable Jersey for Schools is a certification program for New Jersey public schools.
This includes schools that want to go green, conserve resources and take steps to a bright future, one school at a time.
As a program Underwriter, The New Jersey Education Association will be awarding $180,000 in grants to support this program.
Ten lucky school districts or schools will receive an award of $10,000 each.
In addition, the green teams at forty schools will also receive $2,000 grants each.
Applications are due by Thursday, October 31, 2019.
