Equity Alliance Weekend 2020 will offer training on social justice issues and social justice activism. Educators are welcome to attend the conference, MLK Human and Civil Rights Celebration or both. The conference has a variety of sessions to choose from such as “LOVE for the work and beyond” and “FOCUS on the way we think about, see, and react to the world”. The celebration includes entertainment by Tony! Toni! Toné! as well as keynote speaker Keron Blair. During this weekend, the NJEA will present eight awards, four of which will recognize advocacy and achievement in equity and justice.
