Jeff Lisciandrello is offering teachers an opportunity to experience inquiry- based learning first-hand. He has spent over fifteen years as a classroom teacher and also works as a curriculum designer and instructional coach. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create an active learning environment through the use of physical and visual models.  Educators will discuss concepts behind scale models, teaching strategies to help students interpret scale models, and even address common student misconceptions. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be ready to conduct your visual model lesson the next day!
