You are most likely aware of the Opioid Crisis which is currently sweeping the state of New Jersey and much of the Country.  This workshop will explore this crisis as well as other topics and trends with regards to the use of CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substances).  What can you look for to determine if a student may be under the influence of these drugs, or struggling with addiction?  This session will help to answer questions like this and inform you of the medical issues and legal requirements associated with this issue.

You will be introduced to real life role play situations that will help to prepare you for the rapid fire decision making that is required for the situation to be handled correctly. You will increase your understanding of legal requirements in these situations and best practices to handle them correctly.
