Bringing the Maker Movement to your Elementary School (PD)

February 22, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

$150.00
Bringing the Maker Movement to your Elementary School

As a wise student once said, “Everything you touch is an adventure”. If you’re interested in discovering new ways to activate your classroom and share powerful ideas, this workshop is for you. With a focus on the Maker movement, participants will have the opportunity to create something using circuits and learn about circuitry along the way. Choose from littleBits, paper circuits, squishy circuits, Makey Makeys and more. In addition to the hands-on experience, student work will be displayed, classroom videos will be shared, and reading materials will be distributed. At the end of the day, educators will have learned new ways to create conditions for invention in the classroom.
