The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics offers this grant for PreK-5 math teachers who have demonstrated a commitment to strengthening their own teaching methods and applying innovative ideas to their classrooms. Applicants must have the support of their principals and be Essential or Premium members of NCTM. Funds may be used for professional development, including college coursework, fees associated with attendance at conferences and materials/stipends related to in-service programs. One teacher per school can receive up to $6,000. The deadline for applications is November 1, 2019.
