The Air Force Association selects forty K-12 teachers every year who will receive up to a $500 grant each to fund innovative, aero-space themed projects. Educators should create proposals that will influence student learning and encourage students to explore futures in STEM fields. The AFA will focus on projects that require funding for science and technology software and classroom supplies to help make dreams become a reality. Applications are accepted from September 1st through December 15th each year and the grants are awarded in February.
