On July 1, 2018, the new rules that the NJBOE adopted with regards to HIB (Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying) will go into effect. For those involved in the athletic programs at their schools, it is important to understand the new rules and how they will impact current HIB protocols.  To further prepare those individuals involved in athletic programs, other HIB related topics will also be covered.

A sampling of Topics:

-Recent cases of HIB brought against coaches

-Legal requirements with regards to student supervision

-How Coaches should communicate with students and parents

and

-How to deal with parents who may be engaging in HIB.

The N.J. Dept. of Ed. Professional Development will be providing –3 credit hours—to qualified participants.
