UNICEF is helping kids be scary generous this Halloween.
The charitable organization is currently running a Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign. Kids can register online, and receive a special UNICEF Trick-or-Treat box which they can use to collect money from family, friends, and neighbors in order to raise money for children who have been impacted by the recent natural disasters around the world.
Once students have filled their boxes, they can go to the “Donate” section of the UNICEF site, and donate their money.
There are also some fun things kids can do with this #ScaryGood idea. They can enter to win a behind-the-“screams” tour of the latest Goosebumps movie, or they can click on the Halloween calendar where there are new activities, quizzes, movies, etc. for kids to enjoy.
Educators can head over to the UNICEF website for special projects they can do in there classroom.
UNICEF or The United Nations Children’s Fund is a United Nations programme headquartered in New York City that provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries.
