Did you know that MIT offers a tool to help middle and high school students create apps for android devices? Fear not Apple users! They are working on IOS now and the app inventor provides a free Android simulator for Mac or PC.  The interface is simple, utilizing drag and drop features to build the code to create the app. This basic understanding of build the code by dragging and dropping “blocks” of code can lead to more advanced training in Java programming. This content can be applied to an Hour-of-Code session.
