This year’s event is focused on teacher knowledge and research and the relationship between theory and practice. It’s a time to explore literacy, writing, teaching, and learning all while sharing promising practices and resources to support our youth. Keynote speakers include Shani Robinson and Anna Simonton, authors of None of the Above: The Untold Story of the Atlanta Public Schools Cheating Scandal, Corporate Greed, and the Criminalization of Educators, and Nicole Mirra, author of Educating for Empathy: Literacy Learning and Civic Engagement.
