Reading is important in school and it’s important for life.  Help your students do better in both!

In this session, you will discuss the importance of the seven reading comprehension strategies used to develop good readers and explore ways to use these strategies in read alouds and think aloud activities in the classroom.

In addition, “There will also be a focus on phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension, and how to integrate these into daily lesson planning. Participants will also interact with rich texts and engage in reflective comprehension strategy models.”
