June 25, 2018 @ 8:00 am - June 29, 2018 @ 4:00 pm

Free, for educators who are selected
For 5 days, Patti Duncan (distinguished science educator) ,will lead middle school educators to examine implementing the Next Generation Science Standards in the classroom and learn more about the core components of the NGSS– “three-dimensional learning.”
As described on the site, “Middle school educators will explore science lesson planning from a new perspective including opportunities for skill development, making connections to real world phenomena, and the implementation of educational technology.”
The goal of this time together is to produce lessons derived from and informed by learning experiences.   Educators will discover fresh and innovative ways to create student centered experiences that prepare all students for the future. Collaboration will be encouraged throughout the week, so that teachers can enhance their ideas.
There is no cost for Educators who are selected to attend!
