For thirty years, the New York City Mathematics Project (NYCMP) has supported New York public school teachers and administrators with the belief that all students have a right to high quality educational opportunities. The NYCMP is a nationally recognized professional program of the Institute for Literacy Studies deepening teachers’ conceptual understanding of mathematics, mathematics curricula and how students learn mathematics.
