The Suzuki approach focuses on the early education of children as well as parent participation. Dr. Suzuki studied the way children learned language and applied it to teaching music. He believed both had an emphasis on listening and practicing. The Suzuki Association for the Americas (SAA) developed this class to provide teachers with an overview of the Suzuki Method. The course will be led by Joan Krzywicki, who has been a teacher trainer for the SAA for the past twenty-six years and is also certified by the Music Teachers National Association.
