Introducing children to engineering in elementary schools brings a host of benefits. It allows children to apply math and science skills to real-world scenarios, encourages teamwork and problem-solving, and introduces them to a field that could eventually lead to a successful and rewarding career. Attendees will receive professional development hours and access to Liberty Science Center’s general admission exhibits. More importantly, a research based elementary engineering curriculum will be shared for teachers seeking to actively engage students in STEM units.
