Differentiating Instruction in High School Math: It’s Not as Hard as You Think

October 11, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

$149

It can feel overwhelming (to say the least) to differentiate instruction for every individual in a diverse classroom.  Adding to the difficulty, some districts have begun to allow students to select the course they want, rather than what the district/teachers recommend.  This session has been designed to help navigate these challenges.  As explained in the event description: “Included will be strategies and activities for warm-ups, investigations, practice, review and homework.  Multi-formatted tasks will help you plan for student-to-student communications, modify material and create options.  All will focus on Math Practice Standards and New Jersey’s Standards.”

NOTE:  Each participant should bring a laptop, access to important information pertaining to the individual and their classroom’s (i.e. textbooks, curriculum, etc.)
