Bald Eagle Ecology for Teachers (k-12)

January 13, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

$25

Duke Farms in Hillsborough NJ provides so many interesting and unique ways to learn about nature and science.  One of those ways includes a webcam that they installed on a tree right near a bald eagle nest, so they could view what eagles do on a daily basis.  This eagle cam is a fantastic tool to teach about ecology, animal behavior and endangered species.  Come learn about the science behind the bald eagle population in NJ as well as about how this technology can be used in your classroom…perhaps for a new STEM lesson that will really impress?

In addition, they have “Eagle Kits for the Classroom”  that teachers can borrow for FREE for up to 3 weeks!

Whether you are a science teacher or a science enthusiast (or both), you’ve got to check this place out!  Our very own contributor wrote about Duke Farms a few months ago, for more information about this great place, check it out…
