It can seem as if students don’t want to be in class.  It often appears that they aren’t paying attention to much at all and what they are hearing doesn’t interest them in the least.  In this session, participants will discuss why students appear lazy, unmotivated and/or impulsive and discuss how these challenges can be addressed in the classroom. It is important to identify what is really going on for students like this, to help improve and/or eliminate behavior that holds them back from learning. Hands-on activities to use at school by teams of teachers will be explored.
