Planning Your Visit: A Day of Interactive Learning

Upon arriving at the American Dream complex, students will be escorted to the NJHOF, conveniently located on Level Three, Court G, across from the Oreo Cafe. After a brief overview of NJHOF, students are divided into groups of seven or fewer to ensure a personalized experience. Each group is given a “NJHOF passport,” which serves as both a guide to the exhibits and a tool for reflection. The passport contains clues and questions related to the different attractions, encouraging students to think critically about what they see and experience.
As they explore the Hall of Fame, students will spend approximately 15 minutes at each exhibit, engaging with interactive displays, watching multimedia presentations, and working collaboratively to answer the questions in their passports. This format promotes teamwork, curiosity, and active learning, helping students connect the content they encounter with the subjects they are studying in school. For example, at the Karaoke Stage, students can sing alongside a hologram of one of their favorite Hall of Fame inductees, fostering self-confidence, creativity, and communication skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.

The New Jersey Hall of Fame is committed to making its educational programming accessible to all schools, regardless of budget. The cost for a student field trip is $13.99 per student, with one free chaperone included for every seven students. Additional chaperones are welcome to join for the same price of $13.99 per person. This pricing structure ensures that schools can provide their students with a rich, immersive learning experience without breaking the budget.
