This workshop will explore the connection between movement and learning science. 
One of the four learning styles, kinesthetic learning happens when lessons are combined with physical movement.  This method of teaching benefits all students as their brain (which is learning) connects with their body (which is moving) and makes learning more memorable.

As explained on the website, “The full day workshop will provide cross-curricular activities directly tied to The Next Generation Science Standards as well as the NJ Language Arts and Physical Education Standards. Teachers will be guided through lessons they can implement immediately and will also be coached on how to create their own cross-curricular lesson plans and assessments to be used in classrooms, open space or outside.”

Lunch is included with the $50 cost to participate.
