Teacher Week at the Beach is Back!
Yes, you heard that right: we’re bringing it back! Teacher Week at the Beach is on the calendar for Wednesday, July 30, 2025, through Friday, August 1, 2025, at Jenkinson’s Beach and Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach.
This three-day Educator Appreciation event, inaugurated in 2016 by Plymouth Rock’s Teachers’ Insurance Plan, has hosted thousands of educators and their guests over the years for a day of fun in the sun, free of charge.
Registered educators each receive a beach pass, along with a choice of either aquarium or mini golf admission for themselves and a guest on one (1) of the event days. Plus, plenty of fun prizes and freebies! But don’t wait too long! Passes are limited. Limit one (1) beach pass and choice of one (1) aquarium or mini golf pass per registrant and their guest.
Pre-registration will open soon! Check back for updates.
A limited number of passes will be available each day of the event for walk-up registrants. This offer is only available to NJ and PA educational employees (current or retired) and proof of employment (such as a school ID or union ID) will be required to receive your passes.

Pickup Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM daily.
Weather Policy: In the event of rain, the event may be temporarily closed. No rain dates are scheduled. Check this page or our Facebook page for news and updates on event closures or shortened hours due to weather. The event check-in table is in an outdoor area and will close for rain, etc.
Parking: Parking near the beach in Point Pleasant can be challenging. We suggest arriving early and parking in the lots in front of Frank’s Fun Center or the rides. A municipal parking area is also located nearby at the intersection of Arnold Ave. and Ocean Ave, as well as the train station parking lot at Cooks Rd. and Arnold Ave.
See you at the beach!
